Since joining the team 9 years ago Chris Cowen, our Head of Business Development, has been responsible for developing partnerships with our insurance clients based on transparency and trust, ensuring Auger's continuous growth and success.
As a Business Development professional, Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the insurance industry, having previously been the Head of Sales & Business Development for a number of key suppliers in the insurance and home emergency sectors. His skills and expertise have led to a significant expansion of our client base over the past decade, meaning we now partner with many major UK insurers and loss adjusters.
As our lead for new business, Chris is at the forefront of our growth strategy, and is constantly on the look out for partnership opportunities which will secure a sustainable future for Auger. He is influential in all tender processes, taking the lead in exploring technical philosophy and contract terms with new clients.
We take pride in providing an unrivalled service for our clients and customers alike, and Chris enables us to remain at the forefront of our field by keeping up to date with industry trends, best practice and changes in regulation and guidance. This means we exceed our SLA's, contributing to our outstanding NPS of 90 and excellent client retention record.
Chris regularly carries out training sessions and seminars for our clients' teams, both in person and virtually, helping them to increase their knowledge of underground service claims and our operations. This allows them to better understand what our mutual customers might be facing when they first make their claim. Chris acts as a mentor to our Technical Team, coaching them on all technical and policy liability aspects of their role. Most importantly, Chris can always be relied upon to be a friendly face for our team, who's always there to support them when needed.
