Auger in line for national award

Auger headquartersAuger has been shortlisted in the prestigious British Insurance Awards making it through to the finals in the Claims Initiative of the Year Outsourced Partner category.

Auger joins some of the biggest names in the industry among the 24 categories at the 23rd year of the awards to be held at the Royal Albert Hall on July 5.

David Brewster, managing director of Auger, said: “This is great news and well deserved to the team for their commitment and passion to get the job done, whatever it takes. We pride ourselves in how close we work with our insurance partners and the customers on the ground.”

The Claims Initiative of the Year Outsourced Partner category is open to any firm offering claims handling and claims management services to the insurance industry including law firms, loss adjusters, assessors and claims management companies.

Among the elements the judges are looking for are: examples of a response to a single event, major issue or multiple claims that went beyond business-as-usual; use of innovative thinking and technology to make the claimant’s journey smoother and/or to streamline internal systems to the mutual benefit of the entrant and their customer and strong collaboration with insurers or other service providers.

As an industry-leading specialist, Auger’s highly trained team detects and solves leaking underground water systems including septic tanks that can be difficult to locate, aiming to return the system back to full working order with a single site visit.

The company’s employees are able to track all claims from detection of the problem through to completion of repair, keeping in contact with its 50-strong team of engineers and ensuring the customer is updated from start to finish.
